Trail Description Trails are mostly in the open prairie with some in wooded areas. There is some access to water on the trails. Most trails are wide and good footing. No shoes needed. Interesting historic information along the trails. There are additional miles of trails in the the adjacent County Park. These are a pretty long ride from the Campground, but well worth it.

Campground This is a really nice campground with mature trees and plenty of shade in most sites. There are pit toilets avaialable that are spaced out so the walk is never too long. There are no trailer pads so you can park your trailer however you want. The highlines are very nice and well located. There can be some mosquitoes in a wet year both in the campground and on the trails. Bring your spray! There are showers available in the park, but you have to drive to them.
